Yes we do use AI in our product, and although it provides some very powerful functionalities, it is kept well away from computing any numbers. All figures come directly from a fixed-precision engine that returns a single answer, repeatably, permanently. The Audit Advisor is separate from this: Using Anthropic's Claude, it explains that answer in plain English, delivers reliable output regarding that same answer, and can draft whole spreadsheets and much more - but acting only when you ask it to.

The engine itself never changes from one utility to the next. Tariffs live in the system as data, so supporting many regions means holding their published rates, not writing new code. One set of arithmetic serves every customer, and every result can be checked against the same rules. Findings are purely deterministic, they're sourced straight from the data comparison. Our AI never calculates any figures nor acts on your behalf, and the dashboard is driven manually without needing the Audit Advisor feature for operation. There's even an additional option to switch the AI off entirely for peace of mind if you so choose.

Being the nature of a subscription based product, I made Euphonic Power straddle a fine line between providing immediate value - unlocking genuine savings potential from your electricity expenses, within days - while simultaneously giving you ongoing visibility and control of your company's power usage and associated costs. Not everybody will achieve savings. Certain bills will return exact, finding no errors, which simply becomes validation and is an extremely important part of my goal. This is where the continued auditing and emissions ledgers become a more predominant sticking point, but opting out is perfectly understandable if you feel you've already received all the value that you need.
